The VP Commercial EU - Diagnostics will be accountable for commercializing these diagnostic solutions to pathology labs across the EU - with a focus on the UK, France and Germany, as well as helping structure the overall go-to-market strategy, for regulatory grade as well as research use only digital pathology products.

Overall, this role will be key in rolling out our world class AI products, as well as scaling the business.
Owkin has a significant and growing presence in Europe and the United States.

Main Missions:

  • Help define the EU commercial strategy, organize and build efficient commercial practices
  • Build and refine diagnostic products launch plan
  • Head and grow the EU commercial team, including sales, marketing and distribution
  • Introduce our diagnostic products to clients and elaborate the product differentiation pitch to customers
  • Proactively develop and close clinical deals, managing the business agreement negotiation
  • Manage the customer relationship post deal, and grow the business for existing customers
  • Attend events that drive new business
  • In collaboration with excom, help forecast and report the commercial objectives
  • Serve as a voice of the customer of all their challenges/opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate statutes for clinical engagement

Requirements:

  • Build and refine diagnostic products launch plan

Preferred experience:

  • 5+ years’ sales experience in healthcare, pathology and clinical institutions
  • You have product launch experience
  • You are familiar with diagnostics and molecular testing
  • You have sales acumen and a natural capacity to build relationships
  • Experience with digital pathology or novel AI diagnostics is a plus
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • You are hands-on, experienced, proactive, independent, articulate and possess a good sense of humor, integrity and professionalism
  • You have an ability to work in cross functional team, willing to collaborate with marketing, commercial, development and regulatory teams
  • You are fluent in English and ideally other European languages as well
  • You are passionate about innovative research and AI the for the future of precision medicine
